Mission Statement: The Denver Democrats seek to educate, recruit, and mobilize Denver residents to support Democratic principles and values, and to elect Democratic candidates who support those principles and values.  Our goals are to:

The purpose of the Arapahoe County Democrats is to elect Democrats to public office, facilitate elections, support the Democratic Party of the United States and the Democratic Party of the State of Colorado, identify issues that affect the health, welfare and happiness of present and future citizens of Arapahoe County, and develop Democratic positions on these issues.

The Democratic National Committee plans the Party's quadrennial presidential nominating convention; promotes the election of Party candidates with both technical and financial support; and works with national, state, and local party organizations, elected officials, candidates, and constituencies to respond to the needs and views of the Democratic electorate and the nation.

The Democratic Party has a long and proud history of representing and protecting the interests of working Americans and guaranteeing personal liberties for all. One of the places we articulate our beliefs is in the Party's National Platform, adopted every four years by the Delegates at the National Convention.
